We are running our Reverse Advent Calendar again this year and we would love for you to join us in helping us help more kids this Christmas.
The Reverse Advent Calendar is a really simple idea and a great way that you or your organisation can get involved in Big Group Hug and help the families we are assisting on a daily basis – Simply pick out a sturdy basket, box or better still a nappy bag and fill it with donations from the list attached – one item every day for 24 days. Then, when your bags are filled, drop them into the Big Group Hug Warehouse or to one of our dropoff points.
The beauty of a Reverse Advent Calendar is in the simplicity but also in how it can be customised. You can add one item a day or purchase several items every time you shop. You can collect 25 items from your whole family/coworkers or 25 items from each member in your family/co-workers. You can start collecting the items in the middle of November or wait until the beginning of December. You can create the Reverse Advent Calendar however you and your organisation, school or family chooses.
