Bridge Darebin, a Neighbourhood House in Darebin, is an innovative, not-for-profit enterprise that has been serving the local community since 1982.

They want to introduce themselves and let you know about a new program they are launching in 2021 – Bridge Queer Gathering.

BQG aims to create an intergenerational collective – dedicated to bringing together queer and questioning people of all ages – to learn new skills, explore the city and get involved in shaping a group that is community-led and community loved.

BQG will host monthly excursions, workshops, classes and drop-in social events at their Thornbury Neighbourhood House.

This is the link to register to attend the information night on Wednesday 9th December at 5.30 pm to 7.00 pm. Via Eventbrite here: https://bit.ly/35SIkzp (the event is FREE to attend but registration is required please). Attendance can be via face to face or zoom.

BQG is also very keen to create ongoing partnerships with like-minded organisations, in order to run collaborative events such as movie nights, day-trips, creative classes and anything else you think we can work together on.

If you have some ideas about events or projects you’d think they can partner, please do get in touch with Mahira via email edm@bridgedarebin.org.au
