Volunteer – Board of Directors
Span Community House is currently seeking expressions of interest from those who wish to give back to the community by actively assisting a not-for-profit neighbourhood house as a general board member. Board positions are voluntary positions.
The Board of Directors is responsible for the governance of Span, ensuring that our organisation meets all legal requirements and remains accountable to its donors, funders, stakeholders and the community.
Board members must undertake a police check, complete a board nomination form and volunteer application form.
Board members are asked to volunteer for approximately six hours per month. Tasks include reading monthly reports, attending and contributing to monthly board meetings, assisting on a subcommittee or in another area depending on your area of expertise.
Please contact the manager at Span Community House for further details. email@example.com or 9480 1364.
