Battery recycling
SPAN no longer collects batteries (household, including rechargeables) for recycling.
If you wish to recycle batteries, there are several drop-off locations, including:
B-cycle drop-off point
Council Recycling Station
Darebin Resource Recovery Centre
ALDI supermarkets
Officeworks
Bunnings
Coles
Woolworths
Remember to tape the ends of each battery before you drop them off! and take to a B-cycle drop-off point, Council Recycling Station, Darebin Resource Recovery Centre, ALDI stores, Coles, Woolworths
