National Families Week 2021 is just around the corner. The Week is held each year from 15th – 21st May, the United Nations International Day of Families, to 21 May.

The challenges of the past year have underlined the fundamental importance of families to society, communities and to us as individuals. National Families Week is a time to celebrate family and community and the role families play by working together to support each other and provide care for those in the broader community.

‘Stronger Families, Stronger Communities’ is the theme for National Families Week, highlighting the important role families play as the central building blocks of our communities. Community wellbeing is enhanced by family wellbeing.
